A photography series was launched for the students by the Media PR Cell. The first theme of the series was “What is your idea of Mindfulness?”

Students were asked to share how they experience mindfulness through photographs clicked by them. The initiative brought out the different perspectives of people towards the mundane things in our lives.

Here are some of the awe-inspiring pictures and the meaning behind them, captured by the students.

“A young soul with a pure heart, eager to grow up and take control!’ The scenic beauty, the clear water and the innocence of this child’s act brings me closer to my inner self.” –   Akshita Jain, PGP 2020-22

“There’s something about places without a feeling soul in sight. Where there is you, and unwavering trees to the right and nimble streams to the left and stout mountains above and soft wet grass below, all reminding you of everything important to you. For me, this is one such place.” – Radhika Garg, PGP 2020-22

“People come here to sit on the shore, hang out, and self-reflect. It has a Gurudwara and Jain Temple nearby. The boatmen are predominantly Muslims earning their bread and butter here. An ideal symbol of the religious multitude, people from all walks come here for peace to relax the mind from all the hustle and bustle of the city. In simpler words, for me, this is the place where peace triumphs chaos!” – Ved Jain, PGP 2020-2022
