The Sports Committee of IIM Bodh Gaya conducted an intra-college Chess Tournament- “Check your Mate” on 29^th and 30^th January 2022.The event was a Standard, Bullet variant game with time control 2+1 (Initial clock time is 2 min, 1-sec clock increment for every move) and was held virtually on the lichess platform. All the 62 participants were divided into 5 groups on a random basis and an Arena Tournament of 30 minutes was conducted for each group as an initial round. Top 2 contenders from each group were selected and they played a 10 member Arena Tournament of 30 minutes for the final round. Suraj Jagadeesan from IPM 01 emerged as the winner followed by Pratham Rawal, IPM 01 and Harshit Gupta, MBA 07.
