Overview:

Dr. Swapnarag Swain is the chairperson of MBA (Hospital & Healthcare Management) and an Assistant Professor, Marketing at IIM Bodh Gaya. Dr. Swain possesses valuable experience of nearly 13 years in academics and industry combined together. Before joining IIM Bodh Gaya, he has been associated with reputed academic institutions like T.A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) - Manipal, IMI-Kolkata, NALSAR-Hyderabad, and National Law University (NLU), Odisha. Dr. Swain has been the recipient of prestigious gold medal for being the best all-rounder in MBA at KIIT University. He is also a recipient of PGDHHM (Hospital & Healthcare Management) from Symbiosis, Pune and holds Ph. D from Utkal University. He has been teaching courses like Marketing Management, Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management, Services Marketing and B2B Marketing. His research interest lies in the areas of service quality, healthcare marketing, brand equity, consumer-brand relationship and technology adoption among consumers. Dr. Swain holds special interest in conducting training programs for healthcare professionals in the areas like healthcare service excellence, patient satisfaction and healthcare marketing. He is dedicated towards creation and dissemination of knowledge in the areas of marketing and healthcare management through his research, training and consultancy.
