Constitution Day, also known as “National Law Day” or “Samvidhan Divas” , is celebrated on 26 November every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. On 26 November 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India and hence the day was chosen to spread the ideologies of the constitution and to spread thoughts and ideas of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar.

To mark this day and to instill in students the importance and knowledge of the constitution in students, IIM Bodh Gaya organised a constitution reading session. The session was attended by Dr. Vinita Sahay, Director,IIM Bodh Gaya and all the faculty members along with the students. To make the session more comprehensible, the preamble was read in English as well as in Hindi.
