Centre for Inclusion
The Center for Inclusion Gaya is a vertical of the fast-growing institute that spans actoss multi-faceted dimensions of diversity, equality, and inclusion. In this center, the key focus is towards empowering divyang, women, and other underrepresented groups with the socio-economic aspects and educational construct. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in his speech at the National Award for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities (Dec 2, 2003) stated that.
that “We have to make efforts to ensure that disabled persons get equal opportunities and they do not remain isolated in the society.”
Considering this mantra and extending it to diverse underrepresented voices, this center sets its vision to support the group in their endeavours.
As a leading management institute, the focus has been to touch more lives and bring a change in their state of living by embedding technology with socio-economic-environmental aspects. The center for inclusion buids on the vision by focusing on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 10) – Reduced Inequalities by promoting opportunities for diverse groups and focusing on technology-based support for these voices.
With the inception of this center, IIM Bodh Gaya is striving towards narrowing the inequality gap and promoting inclusive opportunities for the stakeholders. Join us in making the unheard voices loud and clear.
