“ My time at IIM Bodhgaya was a completely different experience than I expected, especially as it was my first time living on a campus. Academically, I had a more personal and unique experience. The smaller, more engaging classes were a welcome change from the theoretical lectures and large student numbers at Politecnico di Milano. I was able to meet many people and form deep connections with my fellow peers. I also had the opportunity to experience different nearby places like Patna, Kolkata, and Jamshedpur, where I even attended an Indian wedding. The most astonishing experience was attending the Mahakumbh festival in Varanasi. The spirituality and dedication of the people were amazing and made it a once-in-a-lifetime event for me.”

“ My three months at IIM Bodhgaya were incredibly eventful. The classes were very engaging, and the students were enthusiastic, which made the learning process enjoyable. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of my peers also contributed to a unique and enriching classroom environment. A major reason for me to come here was to immerse myself in the culture. As a residential program, I had countless opportunities to engage and learn outside the classroom. It was easy to make friends, and there were always plenty of sports and events happening. The college was very supportive of my travel and accommodation needs, and I was able to visit places like Banaras and Kolkata, which were major highlights of my time in India.”

“My time at IIM Bodhgaya was incredible. I was initially drawn to it because it’s one of India’s most renowned universities—a country with endless opportunities, a diverse culture, and a fast-growing economy. The exposure to India’s education system and its novel teaching methods gave me a unique perspective. The practical assignments and case studies we worked on fueled deep discussions, which were the key takeaways from my journey here.”

“My first days at IIM Bodhgaya were a cultural shock, with new routines and languages, but the people here were incredibly welcoming. They immediately made me feel like part of the group, which was a huge comfort. Outside of class, my life was amazing, especially playing badminton, which was a great way to meet new friends. The highlight of my experience was the grand Diwali celebration—it was an unforgettable experience that helped me feel my best. As a travel vlogger, I also made time to explore incredible places like Delhi, Agra, and Varanasi. I’m truly thankful for this opportunity. I would highly recommend that any international student coming to IIM Bodhgaya appreciates every moment, explores widely, and socializes to get the most out of their experience.”
